Abstract
The specimen we observed consisted apparently identical female twins joined ventrally from the xiphoid region to umbilicus-abdominothoracopagus. Two bodies were equally well developed; two heads, two necks, four arms and four legs were almost equal and normal. The external genitalia and the anus were not developed. There was a common umbilical cord. The viscera had several anomalies-one fused diaphragm and liver, one large intestine, one anomalous large heart lacking pulmonary arteries, the pulmonary arteries originated from the aortic arch seperately, one out of four kidneys was hydronephritic, one set of adrenal glands fused together, the pubic symphysis were removed laterally and the pelvic cavity was common, two bicornated uteri.
